The path of a witcher isn’t a prosperous one by any means. As a famous white wolf once said, "Sometimes there're monsters, and sometimes there’s money, rarely both." That sentiment holds true in The Witcher: Monster Slayer.

You’ll encounter monsters aplenty, but the coin for slaying them is scarce, not to mention the shop prices do hard-knocked witchers no favors. So knowing from the outset, you’ll be hard-pressed to keep that coin pouch full, let’s take a look at every possible way to earn coin in The Witcher: Monster Slayer.
Quests
The first way of earning coins you’ll discover is by questing. Quests will pay out various amounts of Coin depending on what sort of task you are hired to undertake, though as a witcher, you should never expect hefty compensation.
The Witcher: Monster Slayer is more story-driven than other AR games, such as Pokemon GO! or Wizards Unite, in that it is more predominantly quest-based. The developers also strive to bring you as authentic an experience as possible, short of drenching you in Selkiemore guts.
This means you should always plan on undergoing a bit of a trek to reach your quest destination, which can turn out to be quite time-consuming and not a very productive means of earning Coins. However, you can implement these other strategies simultaneously to get those coins tossing your way in greater abundance.
Daily Witcher Contracts
The game will also introduce you to Daily Contracts early on, which consist of various tasks such as Slay X amount of Y monsters, Brew X amount of potions, Throw X amount of bombs, and so on. You’ll be given three Daily tasks, and while you can only earn one stamp each day towards the weekly bonus reward, you can still complete the Contracts you receive and collect their payouts.
Contracts typically offer 50 coins per task, though the rates vary. The largest compensation for a contract reported so far is 100 coins. Once you’ve completed a Contract, a countdown will begin, and another Contract will spawn in its place after a certain amount of time.

Nemetons
These colossally decrepit and cursed-looking trees serve as the game’s battle hubs, similar to Gyms in Pokemon GO! Only witchers who’ve achieved level 10 may take on these monster nests. Each nest harbors three monsters each, which you’ll need to dispatch consecutively in one go.
Clearing a Nemeton is a great source of experience and also rewards 50 coins for each pacified Nemeton location. What’s more, there is no limit on the number of Nemetons you can clear in a day.
While going out for a day of Nemeton clearing is a strong strategy for gaining experience quickly, only the first three Nemetons you clear will offer any payout. After that, it’s all about the experience, capping the total possible daily earnings from Nemetons at 150 Coins.
Converting Currency AKA Pay to Play
The developers missed a beat here by not naming this section of the in-game shop “Vivaldi’s Bank,” or at the very least, Crowns. But titles aside, honest witcher work isn’t the only means to an end. If you prefer, you can convert some of your earnings from the modern civilized world into Coins for buying all of that witcher gear and the like. Here is a rundown of the current rate of exchange.
