Square Enix has teased new information for Bravely Default II, and it’s coming soon.
The company tweeted (via Games Jouhou) out a piece of artwork to celebrate the eighth anniversary of the original Bravely Default, promising they’ll share new details soon.
“Information for (Bravely Default II) will be released soon, so please check it out,” the post teases. The artwork was illustrated by Naoki Ikushima:
The original Bravely Default was released back in 2021 for the Nintendo 3DS. We did a thorough review on the game, and found that it was definitely worth a view for fans of classic JRPGs.
In recent news, while Square Enix shut down the mobile spinoff Bravely Default: Fairy’s Effect, they noted development on Bravely Default II was “in the final stage,” leading us to think that a holiday 2020 release is still possible.
Bravely Default II is launching for Nintendo Switch sometime later in 2020.
