Capcom have announced a new Resident Evil Showcase, coming in April of this year, as part of the series’ 25th anniversary.
The previous showcase from January 2021 announced the release date of Resident Evil Village, and revealed Resident Evil Re:Verse; an online multiplayer shooter. The announcements were somewhat lessened by the Capcom Leaks, brought about by a ransomware hacker group. The global premiere date for 3D CGI movie Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness was also announced, but went unspoiled.
“We don’t want to spoil any surprises,” the Capcom Unity blog post explains, “so we’ll leave it to all of you to speculate on what this upcoming presentation might contain. If you’re itching for tasty new info, keep an eye on Resident Evil social channels on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for all the latest. “
It could be assumed the January showcase revealed all the titles we are to expect in the near future, while the upcoming showcase will focus on revealing more about each game and movie. Nonetheless, what are you hoping to see from the Showcase? Sound off in the comments below!
The next Resident Evil Showcase will premiere in April 2021 via Twitch, and YouTube.
