Microsoft have announced Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis during the Xbox Games Showcase.
Despite being announced at the Xbox Games Showcase, Game’sTalk reports that the new content is coming to other platforms such as PlayStation 4. They state (Translation: Google Translate) “The latest work that redesigned the game system and graphic engine of ‘PSO2’.”
This likely implies an overhaul of the game’s engine as a major update, as opposed to a new game. We will keep you informed as we learn more.
