Pokemon: Sword and Shield have been out for almost a year, and fans have been enjoying the giant areas and new Pokemon. The recent Sword and Shield Isle of Armor DLC added a ton of content to the game, and fans quickly took to discovering all of its secrets. It took a few weeks, but some players have discovered a way to get endless money pretty quickly, and all it requires is some Cheri Berries.

The DLC added many useful items and mechanics to the game, such as Max Mushrooms for soup and Dojo upgrades for training. Another feature added into the game is the Cram-O-Matic. This can be unlocked after the player completes the second dojo trial and can be fed four items in order to create a new item. The device, cleverly shaped like a Cramorant Pokemon, can spit out many useful items including one in particular: TR Heat Crash.

TR Heat Crash can sell for $3,000 at the train station shop, and the surprisingly helpful Cheri Berries cost $80 each at the Berry Grocer, meaning players can easily turn $320 into $3,000 in a few seconds. The best way to take advantage of this hidden trick is to max out 999 Cheri Berries and then sit in front of the Cram-O-Matic for a while. Rinse and repeat until the trainer has all of the money they could possibly want.

This isn’t the only Isle of Armor trick that players have discovered. There is a sneaky Trial of Armor exploit for players to have an easier time overcoming the challenge. In a game that has an almost endless supply of endgame content, it isn’t surprising that players have discovered these methods to help speed up some of the longer grind sections.

This infinite money trick can also help players complete their Pokedex, as it allows for infinite Pokeballs to catch Pokemon. Buying a big supply of Quick Balls, as well as evolution items, will help trainers complete the Pokedex much faster. Many players don’t feel like they can enjoy the smaller aspects of the endgame until their Pokedex quest is complete, so this allows many people to get to the fun and relaxing training even quicker.

In a game where the majority of battles are against NPCs, sneaking some extra money can help or harm the player experience. It is ultimately up to each individual trainer whether they feel comfortable taking advantage of exploits and tricks in order to help train their Pokemon. With more Crown Tundra Pokemon revealed, players need to be as prepared as they can for the next adventure in Sword and Shield.
