After several leaks, Ubisoft have officially announced Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake during Ubisoft Forward.
As previously reported with the leaks, the original Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time launched in 2003, this was an action-adventure puzzle-platformer reboot of the classic 2D platformer of the 1990s.
After ransaking an Indian city for the Dagger of Time, the prince is tricked into unleashing the Sands of Time by the Vizier, turning the city’s population into monsters. Now cursed and blessed with the ability to rewind time just before dying, the prince seeks to undo the harm he has done.
Completing the game will net players the ability to play the original 1989 Prince of Persia. Those who preorder the game will obtain the Back to the Origins Set; containing the Original Prince skin, Original Weapons set, and Classic Filter.
