Solasta: Crown of the Magisters Enters Steam Early Access

Solasta: Crown of the Magisters

Developer Tactical Adventures have announced tactical RPG Solasta: Crown of the Magisters has entered Steam Early Access.

Planned to launch in 2021 for Windows PC via Steam, the game is now in Early Access. As previously reported, Solasta: Crown of the Magister is a tabletop-inspired RPG that uses the SRD 5.1 Ruleset. The game places an emphasis on verticality, as your party of adventurers delve into dangerous and ancient dungeons.

To celebrate the launch, Tactical Adventures have announced a 15% launch week discount. They also state the game will “appear in the very relevant upcoming Steam Festival – The Digital Tabletop Fest.” They also note that Early Access save files may not work with the full game.

Tactical Adventures had previously stated they will develop the game over six months while in Early Access. The Early Access build will initially include Act 1 and “a teensy bit” of Act 2, which should be over 10 hours of content. All ancestry, classes, and archetypes will be unlocked; with a level cap of 6.

The full launch will include Act 2, Act 3, side quests (such as Legendary Monster Hunts as per their Kickstarter stretch goals and character background quests), more locations, loot, and a level cap of 10.

The full game promises 40 hours to complete, but varying depending on difficulty level. The game will support English, French, German and Simplified Chinese during Early Access, and possibly more languages on release.
