Following the success of the Sony WH-1000XM4, Sony is preparing to launch WH-1000XM5 wireless headphones with better noise cancellation effects. There will be two colors to choose from black and silver.
In terms of appearance, Sony WH-1000XM5 renderings show that the headset is not much different from the previous generation, but it looks more simple and clean. The ear cushions are thicker and will be more comfortable to wear. Furthermore, the headset’s switch has been replaced by a slider, and the Custom button has been renamed NC/Ambient.
Sony WH-1000XM5 is said to provide up to 40 hours of battery life with noise cancellation mode on, 10 hours more than the previous generation, but the charging time has also increased by 3.5 hours, hinting larger battery capacity.
