XSEED Games have released new information about Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town, including romance options, features, and villagers.
A continuation of the series that was originally known as Harvest Moon in the west, players once again abandon the busy city for a life in the country. Come to Olive Town in the steps of your grandfather, revive his farm, gather resources, and find love.
As stated in the first press release, players will be able to choose from 10 bachelors and bachelorettes as they build a farm from scratch. Highlights include bistro waitress Blaire (dreaming to be an actress), Reina (an enthusiast of ancient items), Damon (motorcycle bad boy with a secret soft-spot for animals), and Iori (a real nature lover).
You can find the bachelors and bachelorettes trailers below, along with screenshots.
The second press release details the game’s features and characters. Players can customize their look (down to their hairstyle, facial features, and skin color) at the beauty salon, along with buying new clothes.
Customization also applies to the farm, which can be upgraded from a mere tent into a grand house. Players can also build a family- not just with a spouse and child, but with pets. Players can raise dogs or cats, and participate in the annual Pet Derby. Player’s animal friends go even further; with mountable horses, and even wolves and unicorns! Motocycles are also available.
You can find screenshots of the features in action below.
Finally, the details on the town many residents were shared, along with many images of them (in the order presented in this list here). You can find it all below.
