Konami have announced Super Bomberman R Online for Google Stadia, along with a release date.
As stated in the press release (via email), the game is based and built upon Super Bomberman R. New additions include a Battle 64 mode for up to 64 players across multiple interconnected states to fight it out to be the last man standing. The Louies power-up also returns, introduced in Bomberman ’94 (kangaroo mounts with their own abilities).
The game will also be the first Stadia title to use “Crowd Play.” This allows users to jump into a game with streamers via YouTube. The game also boasts over 100 customizable feature combinations, “numerous” characters from Super Bomberman R and other Konami titles. New cosmetics include bomb skins, altering the bomb’s explosion.
Stadia Pro users will have complete access to the game while they have a subscription, and can obtain the Premium Edition bundle for free from launch to November 30th (the game with the Premium Pack, usually $9.99). Stadia Base users will be able to purchase the Premium Pack after launch.

With the new Battle 64 mode, players will automatically be placed in one of many areas at the start of each match, and must battle it out against other players in the same area. Areas will begin to close down as the clock ticks and players must pass through the gates to the other remaining areas before the timer runs out!
Those who make it to the last remaining area must battle it out to become the last one standing!!
