Bandai Namco has announced the latest post-launch DLC character for Tekken 7 at this year’s Tokyo Game Show.
Kunimitsu was confirmed as the latest downloadable character for the game as part of the game’s Fourth Season, sometime this fall.
She made her first appearance in the original Tekken and its sequel, however it remains unclear what happened to the original Kunimitsu. The fighter appearing now is reportedly her daughter, and successor. She’ll be added to the game with her “Vermillion Gates” stage.
There are a few free updates also planned for the game over this fall, including: various online play improvements, various new moves for all the previously released characters, a new top-level ranking for “Tekken God Omega,” as well as the new “Tekken Prowess” feature to let players test their skills through trying for a high score.
