It’s official. Bloober Team has announced that its horror game The Medium is coming to PS5.
Released last year for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X, The Medium is a psychological horror game from the creators of Observer, Layers of Fear, and Blair Witch. Up until now, the game was an Xbox console exclusive, but that’s about to change.
The PlayStation 5 version of the game is scheduled to release on September 3, 2021.
My Take
The Medium looked like a promising game, but I thought it was disappointing. Although at times visually stunning and an interesting premise, the controls are a mess and it is short. Still, PS5 owners will welcome having another horror game to choose from on Sony’s next-gen console.
