The Witch Queen has leaked. It seems that someone over in Australia forgot that the island nation is nearly a full day ahead of everywhere else and likely put in the wrong date for when to put Destiny 2’s upcoming expansion on the Australian PlayStation storefront. That error has since been corrected at the listing has been removed, but not before screenshots were taken and posted all over social media.
According to the now-removed listing, The Witch Queen arrives on February 23 in Australia, which will be February 22, 2022 everywhere else. It'll be priced at $119.95 for the Deluxe Edition, which should be around $90 USD given today's conversion.
Included in the Deluxe Edition of The Witch Queen is the Throne World Exotic Ghost Shell, the Enigma Exotic Emote, a new emblem, and Destiny 2 Seasons 16 through 19. It also comes with a new Exotic SMG, its catalyst, an ornament, and an Exotic Sparrow.
"Delve into Savathun's Throne World to uncover the mystery of how she and her Lucent Hive stole the Light," reads the expansion's description." Learn the secrets to crafting new weapons, the new Glaive, and survive the truth within her web of lies."

The new area coming in The Witch Queen will b Savathun's Throne World. No mention of Old Chicago was made, so we can likely toss the theory that Old Chicago will replace the EDZ as one of Earth's destinations.
Weapon crafting is an entirely new system for Destiny 2. The best Guardians can do right now is focus Umbral Engrams into desired weapons, but creating a weapon from scratch is unheard of. Judging by the wording, we'll only be able to create the new Glaive weapon to start, but there's no telling what Guardians will be able to build in the future.
Screenshots below the listing show us the new Savathun's Throne World area, Savathun, and the new armor sets coming in The Witch Queen. And we should definitely note that Savathun seems to have her own Ghost, making her a Guardian.
We'll be sure to learn more during Bungie's Destiny 2 showcase later today.
