Compared to other weeks that had a ton of GTA news and community moments, this week has been a bit quieter. Quiet in GTA Online still means that there's been several updates made to the game, some bringing brand new content, whilst others make changes that fans aren't particularly happy about. Here's this week in GTA Online.
Cayo Perico Changes Annoy Fans
The first story in GTA Online isn't the most positive one, as a recent update to the Cayo Perico heist has changed some things around that fans aren't particularly happy about. Rockstar hasn't yet talked about the update, but players are reporting three major changes to the heist. The first is that the Juggernaut can no longer be pistol-whipped or killed in a single headshot, making the heist a bit harder. The next two changes haven't stirred too much trouble, but three crates have been moved around in Dave's cage and the Brioso 300 has had another check to make it undrivable. What a strange secret update.

Kart Krash Brings Go-Karts With Guns To GTA Online
Here's an update that Rockstar has actually talked about. The latest bit of content to come to GTA Online is the Kart Krash: Full Auto game mode that attaches guns to go-karts and has players competing in a deathmatch to be the last one alive. The mode currently has double RP and GTA$ as an incentive to play as well, so if you're thinking of trying it, now is the best time. It's been getting some pretty mixed responses, though.
GTA Online Community Talks Worst Mystery Unlock Daily Spin Rewards
Over on the GTA Online subreddit, the community is discussing the worst mystery unlocks they've received from the Daily Spin rewards. The thread was started by Redditor refath522, who showed off that they had received P's & Q's as a reward, which are essentially one-time use items that restore health. This started a discussion about the words rewards from the spin, including players who received 10% discounts at a bicycle store, an eCola, a pack of Redwood cigarettes, and one mag's worth of ammo for a useless weapon. Just shows that luck isn't always on your side in GTA Online.
Real Betis Parodies GTA 4 With Signing Video
Here's a fun GTA story for you. Football club Real Betis just signed Argentinian defender, Germán Pezzella, and to announce the signing they created a video that parodies GTA 4, called GTA IV: Real Betis Edition. The video features exaggerated GTA movement, a San Andrea quote, and the UI from early GTA games, so it's a treat for GTA fans old and new.
GTA Trilogy Rumoured To Be Releasing In 2022, Not 2021
Here's an update to a rumour from last week – the rumoured GTA Trilogy remaster might be coming in 2022, not 2021 like was previously reported. Tom Henderson, a leaker known for talking about GTA 6 and Battlefield, reported that the game might be delayed past 2021, presumably in order to let GTA 5: Expanded and Enhanced have some breathing room.
