The release of SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom — Rehydrated was a bit rough, with players complaining of technical issues on Switch. THQ Nordic took action and has released a patch to address “minor issues” and more:
Earlier today, we published a new patch for #SpongeBobRehydrated!
It fixes some minor issues and adds Yoji Ueda as the Japanese voice of Squidward.
Another patch is already in the works and will fix major bugs reported by the community. pic.twitter.com/kXklRRCUfD

THQ Nordic hasn’t released any patch notes, so it’s not totally clear what “minor issues” have been fixed, though some players report improved resolution, as well as a fix to a glitched golden spatula in Squidward’s house. As mentioned in the tweet above, players can expect another patch soon that will address major bugs reported by the player base.
