Although Rare technically re-released an enhanced version of Banjo-Kazooie during the Xbox 360 generation, there are still many fans out there who have been wondering for many years now what a full-blown remaster of the first game would look like.
YouTuber Project Dream has been working on a video series called "Banjo-Kazooie Remastered". Here's a bit about it:
"This is a fan made trailer! As a huge banjo fan I have always wanted to see what a remastered version of the original 1998 game would look like. I set out to produce a trailer that would capture the attention and ignite a little bit of nostalgia that Banjo-Kazooie brought to all of us. This was done using the original N64 geometry with high resolution textures, environments & scenery rendered in the program Lumion."
Since the original video, they've also given other Banjo-Kazooie fans a look at Mad Monster Mansion and Rusty Bucket Bay:
