Limbo has been in Warframe since 2014, and has been a confusing character for many players. He is known as "the Rift Warframe," as all of his abilities focus on sending enemies (and sometimes allies) to the rift plane. Limbo may be different than the standard Warframes, but he still has a wide range of capabilities.

He can handle himself in defense missions while at the same time fly through stealth missions without a care in the world. Limbo is one of the trickiest Warframes to learn and one of the hardest to master, but with a little work, players will be able to take on the game's many enemies without worry.
The first step to obtaining Limbo is to unlock and complete the Europa junction. Players will also need to get the Archwing, as they will need it to get Limbo. Once both of these conditions are met, players will be able to start the Limbo Theorem quest.
This quest will allow players to get all the blueprints for Limbo's parts. Make sure to bring a suitable defensive Warframe on the missions, since most of them are excavation missions. The main blueprint for the Warframe can be purchased from the marketplace on the player's ship.
Most of Limbo's abilities involve utilizing his Rift powers. Here's what players should keep in mind about how to maximize these unique skills.
Limbo is the master of the rift dimension. Because of this, his passive ability allows him to slide into the rift dimension (literally). Players simply need to activate Limbo's slide to enter the rift dimension and ignore all damage.
Doing this also leaves a portal that allies can use to enter the rift plane, thus protecting them as well. Activating Limbo's slide again will take him out of the rift plane.
Banish is Limbo's first ability and one that can help in a pinch. This ability sends the targeted enemy to the rift plane, where it cannot deal or receive damage. This is great for when an enemy needs to be set aside for later. Limbo can also use this ability to send allies to the rift dimension.

Thanks to Limbo's passive ability, he can slide into the rift dimension to deal with enemies that he has banished. Increasing Limbo's ability duration helps this ability last longer. Additionally, the augment card Rift Haven allows this ability to heal allies who get banished.
The Stasis ability allows Limbo to freeze enemies that he has banished or those who have been caught in his Cataclysm ability. This ability to great for staggering large groups of enemies, and even goes so far as to freeze enemy gunfire.
While enemies are frozen, Limbo and his allies can freely enter the rift dimension to take them down. Once the ability ends, all gunfire will continue on the path it was headed when Stasis began.
The Rift Surge ability is essentially the Banish ability, but with an AOE. Rift Surge causes the rift dimension to surge through enemies and banish them to the rift dimension. This effect can then spread once enemies are killed.
This ability is perfect for groups of enemies and enemies who are caught outside of the effect of Limbo's Cataclysm ability. The augment card, Rift Torrent, can be used to gain a damage buff whenever an enemy is affected by Rift Surge while inside the rift dimension.
Cataclysm is Limbo's ultimate rift ability, and creates a sphere of rift energy that causes everyone caught within it to be transported to the rift dimension. Limbo can then manipulate the enemies caught within it by casting Stasis and Rift Surge.

Depending on how the player builds their Limbo character, this ability can have a massive area of effect or be triggered in a burst to cause massive damage to enemies. The augment card, Cataclysm Continuum, can be applied to make the ability last longer each time an enemy is killed inside the rift dimension.
Limbo is a master at crowd control; he excels in contending with large groups of enemies. His ability to send enemies into the rift is perfect for avoiding damage. He can be useful in defense missions thanks to his Cataclysm ability, which can be used to protect the objective from incoming enemies. Limbo is also a good choice for stealth missions, as being able to banish enemies allows him to sneak past without setting off alarms.
On the other hand, Limbo is weak during missions with scattered enemies. His abilities can be used against single enemies, but are better used against crowds where he can manipulate the rift dimension around them.
Thanks to Limbo's aptitude for crowd control, it is best to create a build that increases his ability range and duration. This will help increase the range of Limbo's abilities and increase his capabilities of controlling crowds of enemies.
Increased range will allow Limbo's Rift Surge ability to reach more enemies than ever before. Those who choose to play as Limbo don't need to worry about ability efficiency, because the range and duration of his abilities will carry them.
