TennoCon 2021 has wrapped up with a 30-minute gameplay reveal of The New War, Warframe's upcoming major expansion that will arrive later this year. Those 30-minute introduced us to two new characters we'll take control of for a whole new story, along with one returning character who's gotten in touch with his inner cyborg ninja.
The 30-minute trailer shows Corpus Engineer Veso, Grineer Soldier Kahl-175, and Dax Warrior Tenshin taking on the invading Sentients as best they can. For Kahl, that involves stealing a dead Rhino's shotgun, for Veso it involves gathering the various Corpus robotics to fight back, and for Tenshin, well, he just sort of takes matters into his own hands. Literally.
Tenshin cuts open the Sentient, punches through to its figurative heart, and then tears it out before crushing it in his fist. For those who remember a cult classic Metal Gear Solid spin-off, this is exactly what Raiden does in the hilariously named Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

Although the game had very little to do with the rest of the series in terms of gameplay, Revengeance was still a blast for those who enjoy hack-and-slash action games. It also has quite a bit in common with Warframe, a game where you hack and slash your way through hundreds of enemies with various hard-edged weapons.
Most of the replies in the comments seem to be totally on board with Tenshin’s ability to kill sentients involving a Revengeance reference.
The reference is absolutely amazing. Thanks DE for all of this from

We don’t know exactly what The New War will involve beyond these three characters, but we do know that it’ll be a big step forward for Warframe. Mostly because it’ll also usher in cross-save and cross-progression for all of Warframe’s various platforms, and it’ll likely bring us an update on Digital Extreme’s plans to bring Warframe to mobile too.
Oh, and if you haven't gotten your Tanukai Armor from TennoCon 2021, DE has already noted that there was a problem distributing the new cosmetics to every TennoCon viewer (somewhat related to the sheer volume of Tenno that shut down the TennoCon relay), but they've already announced a fix is in the works.
