Sega have announced that Ryu go Gotoku Studio’s RPG Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be an Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S launch title.
RPG Site reports that Sega have announced the release dare for the Xbox Series X platform, along with Xbox Series S. Based on the statement, it seems previously revealed release dates for other platforms have not changed; meaning the game releases in the west on Xbox Series X first.

“Following today’s Xbox Series S / X announcements, we wanted to share that Sega of America’s one-of-a-kind RPG, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, is coming to Xbox Series S and X on November 10, 2020, day and date with the start of the next generation of gaming hardware. Yakuza: Like a Dragon will also launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Windows 10 and PlayStation 5. Please stay tuned for more release information on all platforms in the coming weeks.”
The news comes after Microsoft announced the release date and price of the Xbox Series X; November 10th for $499 USD (ERP). Soon after, Ubisoft announced Assassin’s Creed Valhalla would be a launch title for the console, along with Xbox Game Studios’ Gears Tactics. Further, EA Play will be coming to Xbox Game Pass at no additional cost.
It should be noted at this time of writing, no statement has been made publicly via Sega or Ryu ga Gotoku Studio.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is available in Japan, and launches in the west November 10th on Xbox Series X, November 13th on Windows PC, Linux, and Mac (all via Steam), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and coming soon to PlayStation 5.
