Also There’s A New Trailer!
Originally set for release on June 24th, Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX is now coming to PC and consoles on June 22nd! It’s the opposite of a delay announcement! Fans unable to wait until Alex Kidd DX’s release now have two fewer days of torment. Also, there’s a new trailer! It’s embedded at the bottom of this article, for added convenience.
Miracle World first appeared on the Sega Master System way back in 1986. If you’re wondering what that was like, the game comes with a Retro Mode. What better way to let that modern makeover shine? There’s also a Boss Rush mode, if you just want to mainline all the toughest bits in a single formidable meal.
Beyond the added game modes, the game will feature updated controls, new levels, tweaked boss fights, and remastered music. Both experienced fans and new ones will be feasting, content-wise. The modern controls alone are enough to justify revisiting this game. One thing you never expect when replaying retro games is how busted the old controls were. Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX is coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and the Nintendo Switch on June 22nd.
