Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker Benchmark Released, Male Viera Character Creator Detailed

Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker Benchmark

Square Enix have launched the benchmark for MMORPG expansion Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, along with a new look at the Male Viera.

As with the prior benchmark, players will be able to test out if their machine can handle what the game offers, complete with an end score evaluation.

In addition, players can spy some of the new foes they will be facing in the scene that plays out, along with new armor sets, mounts, locations, abilities, and more. NPC Alphinaud shows off some of the skills of the new Sage job, while Zenos yae Galvus utilizes the skills of the Reaper job.

In addition, the benchmark features a character creator; so they may bring their character into the scene that plays out in the benchmark, and into the trial version or full game.

It’s worth noting that the Shadowbringers expansion will need to be installed to play as a Viera or Hrothgar. However, players can buy a Fantasia with real money to re-create their character from scratch, and earn one from beating the base A Realm Reborn game.

You can find the benchmark trailer below.

Speaking of Viera, the recent 7th 14-hour Broadscast featured a look at the character creator in action; showing some of the customization options for the new male Viera.

You can find the 7th 14-hour Broadcast below (character creation starts at 3:01:12).

You can download the Endwalker benchmark via Square Enix here.

In recent news, Final Fantasy XIV broke its Steam concurrent players record with over 47,000; after World of Warcraft streamer Asmongold tried the game.

Prior to that MMO Population- utilizing API tools, Reddit, and other resources to calculate player and active player numbers- proposed that Final Fantasy XIV have an estimated 2.49 million active players. This would be 30,000 more than World of Warcraft (assuming both figures are accurate).

Officially, Final Fantasy XIV reached over 22 million registered players worldwide in April 2021. This would also include players who registered for the game’s free trial.

Final Fantasy XIV is available to Windows PC, (via the SE Store, and Steam), PlayStation 4, and coming soon to PlayStation 5, and Xbox One. A free trial is available, including the base game and the first expansion with some limitations. In case you missed it, you can find our Shadowbringers expansion review here (we can’t recommend it enough!)

The next expansion; Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, launches November 23rd.
