We are less than two weeks away from Season 15 in Destiny 2, and each week we’re learning more about what’s coming in the still yet-to-be-named season. Yesterday we found out what weapons we’ll be taking into Nightfalls to defeat champions, and today we’re learning about a bunch of Exotic armors and mods that are getting reworked.
We'll start with the bad news. Exotics that regenerate your super energy are generally getting nerfed. Shards of Galanor, Ursa Furiosa, Phoenix Protocol, and Stormdancer's Brace are all capped out at 50% returns after your Super ends. Geomag Stabilizers, meanwhile, are losing the "sprint to top off your Super" perk. These Exotics were generally considered top-tier compared to other Exotic armors, so these nerfs are to bring them a bit more in line.
The good news is that seven Exotic armors from across each of Destiny 2's classes are getting reworked. These include The Bombardiers, Graviton Forfeit, Lucky Pants, Precious Scars, Icefall Mantle, Verity's Brow, The Stag, and Promethium Spur.
For the full breakdown on each, head on over to Bungie.net to see the latest TWAB.
Season 15 will also see some mods tweaked, some nerfed, and some outright invented. Ammo finder mods now have an increased chance to spawn ammo on kills with primary weapons, and an even greater chance on kills with Exotic Primaries. Scavenger mods will no longer stack, while a new Holster leg armor mod will slowly reload stowed weapons of the appropriate type (except for Rocket Launchers, Breech-loaded Grenade Launchers, and Bows).

Warmind Cells are generally getting nerfed, with reduced damage, reduced range, and reduced effects from Global Reach, Cellular Suppression, and Wrath of Rasputin. Elemental Armaments and Font of Might Elemental Well mods are getting buffed to be more relevant and possibly take up the mantle previously held by Warmind Cell mods.
Iron Banner also got a nod in the most recent TWAB. A new Sidearm and Pulse Rifle were revealed as potential Iron Banner rewards, while an all-new set of Iron Banner armor will be available for those that complete the Iron Banner quest. Further, the Iron Banner armor will include the new Iron Lord's Pride intrinsic perk which gives you an escalating chance at getting an Enhancement Prism for each piece of armor you wear into an Iron Banner Match.
Next week, Bungie will talk about weapons, and we’re fully expecting to hear more details on the pending buffs to Hand Cannons, Scout Rifles, and Machine Guns in PvE content. Stay tuned next Thursday to find out more.
