Approaching one of the carved pillars in the Festival area leads players to the beginning of this quest. Hunting down the three War Letters is one piece of the larger quest known as The War Effort and it can be tricky for those first exploring the grounds. The other pieces of this quest include hosting a Feast at the Longhouse as well as getting a tattoo in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

There are a lot of activities in the Sigrblot Festival in Assassin's Creed Valhalla and it can be easy for players to get distracted. And using Eagle Vision can be equal parts helpful and frustrating. For the first of the three War Letters, players need to head towards the new Orlog station right near three wood carvings of Norsemen. This first War Letter is located to the right of this new option in the game as well as to the right of the tree with a fire within it.

This War Letter is on a table with two barrels and a candle. The details of this letter touch on the latest DLC for Assassin's Creed Valhalla, The Siege of Paris. The leader of Francia, known as Emperor Charles the Third, is mentioned in this and is a major player in that expansion to the game.

The second War Letter is also within the Sigrblot Festival grounds. Players on the hunt for War Letter 2 need to head towards the enormous burning structure in the middle of the Festival grounds. To the right and rear of this, on the top of an anvil is the letter. This letter once again functions to support The Siege of Paris and touches on the Frankish army.

The final war letter is located just a short walk from the starting location of this quest. Players need to walk towards a new drinking area in the Festival grounds in order to find this letter. Just north of the pole that starts this quest, there is a campfire, two Vikings drinking at a table, and an assortment of barrels. The third War Letter is just in the corner of this makeshift tavern and has a knife on top of it.

These letters, though part of the Sigrblot Festival, all point to the latest DLC The Siege of Paris. As part of the number of content additions the developers have added to the game, this DLC takes players to one of the most famous events of the Viking era.
