If you are hoping to explore Yashiori Island, then you will want to complete the questline Orobashis Legacy as quickly as possible. This quest will not only award you with primogems, but it will also get rid of the storm that makes scouring the island a nightmare. This guide is here to walk you through clearing Orobashis Legacy with everything you need to know.

How to Start Orobashis Legacy

To start the quest, head to Yashiori Island and find a small camp with a man named Kaji. Kaji will want you to fix the pillars scattered around the island to try and alleviate the area from the constant storm. The first pillar is up the hill from his camp and the first puzzle is located below his camp.

The quest can be started as soon as you reach the island, and can help with future exploration, as there won't be as much danger when exploring Yashiori Island. While the quests puzzles may seem frustrating at first, they are actually pretty easy to solve when you begin to understand the process of unlocking the pillars.

Orobashi's Legacy Narukami Pillar Guide

At each pillar site, there will be a blue force field that is keeping you away from either the pillar itself or the wards you need to place back on the pillar. The puzzles involve using electro devices to bounce an electro ball into the force field, destroying it.

  • The starting part is always the pillar that is broken, you will want to line each pillar up so that the electro ball bounces off to it and then to the next one.
  • Generally, there is only one pillar that can be aimed at the force field, this will always be the end of the puzzle.
  • You can see the path of the ball at any time by striking the starting pillar with an attack a bow user, such as Amber, will make things easier as you can hit the starting pillar from far away.
  • Once all the pillars are lined up properly, a short cutscene will activate showing the force field dissipating.

Next, you will need to check out two more pillars, one at the Jakotsu mines and the other near Serpents Head.

  • Complete the electro puzzles and keep in mind that the bones in the Jakotsu Mine can block the electro orb from reaching its target location.
  • The two Pillars and their wards will follow the same logic as the first puzzle, the only difference is when you arrive at the pillar you will need to use your elemental sight to lead you to the two wards.
  • The paths can be hard to see, so be sure to be vigilant when looking for the elemental traces after using your sight.
  • While most of the wards are out in the open, one will be hidden inside of an easy-to-find cave. If you have done the Gourmet Supremos questline, you have likely been in the cave containing the ward before.
  • The path appears as a purple stream of energy, and for the most part, wards simply require you to enter small electro force fields.

Since this quest is divided into several different sections, you will get rewards each time you complete one, and the nearby area will become clear of storms.

Raising Fort Fujitou

After completing the pillar at the mines and serpents head, return to Kaji and he will lead you to Fort Fujitou, which will now raise itself from the sea. A new force field will appear with a Maguu Kaneki boss inside. The puzzle mechanics are still the same – line the pillars up and hit the force field to dispel it. Once that's done, you will need to beat the Maguu Kaneki to gain access to the pillar and finish the quest.

  • Tip: Be sure to watch your stamina when moving around to the different electro pillars so you don't drown.

Luckily, the fight is the same as when you take on the regular Maguu Kaneki. The only difference is that the wet status will be constantly applied to you and Maguu Kaneki, making the arena the perfect place for reactions. This time the wards are nearby – the orb is on top of the pillar and the cube is directly in front of it. Completing the puzzle will clear the island of storms and complete the questline.
