The King Of Fighters XV Open Beta Now On PlayStation Consoles
Koch Media is a massive corporation involved in various forms of entertainment and developers and publishes video games, VR games, hardware and merchandise and works with a ton of video game companies including Blizzard, Capcom, Kalypso and Warner Bros. SNK is a Japanese video game developer that has released games such as Metal Slug, Samurai Showdown and King of Fighters. The companies have announced that King of Fighters XV has now entered open beta on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles. The Open Beta will last until November 22nd and is exclusive to the PlayStation consoles.
The King of Fighters XV Open Beta, though being exclusive to PlayStation consoles, will feature cross-gen between the two platforms and participants will be able to face off in online matches (casual and room match) and offline matches, via versus, training and tutorial modes. Furthermore, interested players will not need a PlayStation Plus subscription to access the Open Beta.
It is to be noted however that via its official Twitter, SNK Global has found some errors with non-PlayStation Plus subscribers and are looking into it.
During the Open Beta period, the following characters will be available:

- Kyo Kusanagi
- Iori Yagami
- Chizuru Kagura
- Yashiro Nanakase
- Shermie
- Chris
The King of Fighters XV is an upcoming fighting game that is scheduled for release on February 17th, 2022, on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. The game is built on the Unreal Engine 4 and features GGPO rollback networking for smoother gameplay. Are you ready for the fight?
