Idea Factory and Compile Heart have announced action JRPG Death end re;Quest will be heading to Nintendo Switch in Japan.
The game is currently available on Windows PC (via Steam), and PlayStation 4. Now, the game is set to head to Nintendo Switch in Japan on December 24th. While far from confirmed, this may mean the Nintendo Switch version will get a western release. The Japanese Nintendo webpage for the game makes no mention of any new content.
Death end re;Quest sees video game programmer tracking down a lost colleague, discovering she is trapped in the game they were creating. To escape the bug-riddled game, she must complete the game with a perfect ending- a task with only 1% chance of success.
Now they must work together with NPCs that blur the lines between reality and the virtual world, along with their dangers. Investigate both worlds, and fight against enemies by shifting the game’s genre.
