Amazon has announced more titles they’re adding to their new cloud gaming platform, Amazon Luna, including Call of the Sea, Ghostrunner, and Narita Boy.
All three new games join the Amazon Luna cloud platform sometime this month, alongside the recently-added Observer: System Redux.
Here’s a rundown on the new games coming to Amazon Luna:
Call of the Sea
Developer: Out of the Blue | Publisher: Raw Fury
Call of the Sea (rated T for Teen) is a first-person adventure puzzle game set in the 1930s that tells the story of Norah, a woman on the trail of her missing husband’s expedition. The search takes place on a strange but beautiful island in the South Pacific, filled with secrets waiting to be unearthed. It is an otherworldly tale of mystery, adventure, and self-discovery.
Ghostrunner
Developer: One More Level, 3D Realms, Slipgate Ironworks
Publisher: 505 Games, All in! GamesGhostrunner (rated M for Mature/17+) offers a unique single-player experience: fast-paced, violent combat, and an original setting that blends science fiction with post-apocalyptic themes. It tells the story of a world that has already ended and its inhabitants who fight to survive.
Narita Boy
Developer: Studio Koba | Publisher: Team 17
Become symphonic in Narita Boy (rated T for Teen). A radical action-adventure as a legendary pixel hero trapped as a mere echo within the Digital Kingdom. Discover the mysteries behind the Techno-sword, lock swords with the corrupt and tainted Stallions. Save the world!
It’s worth noting Amazon Luna is currently in early access form across several devices, but already includes access to over a hundred games. You have to request access currently, but the full launch currently has no date while Amazon gets feedback from early adopters.
Here’s some highlights on the platform:
- Built using custom AWS game servers, Luna can stream games without lengthy downloads, updates, or complicated configurations
- Luna Controller connects directly to the cloud for instant play on Fire TV, PC and Mac, as well as on web apps for iPhone and iPad, with Android coming soon
- The multi-antenna design allows for uninterrupted wifi for lower latency gaming, and the ability to seamlessly move from screen to screen
- Customers can subscribe to the Luna+ game channel as part of early access and play favorites like Resident Evil 7, Control, and many more
- Amazon also announced an agreement with Ubisoft to make the Ubisoft channel available directly through Luna
