The lead voice actor for Red Dead Redemption 2 has offered some career advice to the Miami Joker, which doesn’t involve getting a job at Home Depot.

Given their intense secrecy, we never learn much about what it’s like to work at Rockstar Games but it’s clear that many of the actors are extremely loyal, defending the company and its games even if they don’t necessarily have any future roles planned with them.

Ned Luke, the voice of Michael in GTA 5, recently advised streamer xQc that he is a ‘dumbass’ for wanting to pay $1 million to play GTA 6 early. And now Roger Clark – Arthur Morgan from Red Dead Redemption 2 – has tried to convince the Lawrence ‘Miami Joker’ Sullivan not to try and sue Rockstar for $2 million.

Sullivan, who is covered in Joker-esque tattoos and was famously arrested for waving a gun at people on a freeway, recently claimed that Rockstar should pay him up to $2 million for using his likeness in GTA 6.

What he’s referring to is a brief segment of the GTA 6 trailer featuring a character that looks a little, but not very much, like him. Just as there’s another apparent reference to ‘Hammer Karen’ – another Floridian folk figure – even though it’s not supposed to be the same person.

‘Florida Joker ain’t having that. Ya’ll took my likeness, you took my life,’ said Sullivan on TikTok.

For some reason, Clark then decided to post his own clip, insisting to Sullivan that, ‘You don’t need to talk to them.’

‘They’re not going to talk to you. They’ve had people like you trying to sue them for decades, they are lawyered up, man. They know exactly what they can and can’t get away with.

‘If I were you, I would use the notoriety that they just threw your way to my advantage,’ added Clark.

‘Capitalise on it somehow. You ain’t getting a job in Home Depot with that face.’ (The Home Depot is an American retail chain similar to B&Q.)

This is the second time in recent days that Clark has spoken up about Rockstar related matters, having earlier suggested that he was ‘certain’ there will be a Red Dead Redemption 3, but that he is unlikely to be involved.

Although he’s still got more chance than Miami Joker has of suing Rockstar.
