Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: How to Get Paris Flooded Slums Wealth

Assassin's Creed Valhalla The Siege of Paris players are dropped into one of the 9th century's more interesting events. Similar to the previous expansion to Assassin's Creed Valhalla, there are a number of regions to explore with this new DLC. Each new area has its own mysteries, wealth locations, and world events. One of the more interesting of these new additions can be found in Paris' Flooded Slums district.

Located in the underground tunnels in the Flooded Slums, the Scythe of Tribulation is a worthwhile addition to any players' loadout. As one of the new weapons that accompany The Siege of Paris DLC, this weapon brings a new layer to the game. Players just need to explore one of the least fortunate sections of the ancient city in order to be grab this weapon.

The Flooded Slums section of Paris in Assassin's Creed Valhalla's latest DLC is located in the southern section of the city. Within this area of Paris, the Flooded Slums are along the river. Players in search of this wealth location need to head towards the large, ruined church in this part of the city. There is a smaller building without a door that is located to the rear of this church. Players need to enter this building and descend the sunken staircase in order to head towards the Scythe of Tribulation.

Swimming through these sunken tunnels brings players to a dry area. Following this pathway brings players to the puzzle that is between them and the Scythe of Tribulation. The weapon is in a room with limited access. On the left there is a small entrance that is accessible by sliding. On the right there is an inaccessible gap. Within this room, right in front of the weapon, is a new feature from The Siege of Paris DLC: a rat swarm.

These rat swarms attack players persistently unless there is an escape route. Unfortunately, there is no such escape route for the rats in this room. This means that, without interference, there is no way of getting the Scythe of Tribulation. Players need to search the area and head down a hallway to the right of the rat/weapon room. There is a dead body in that hallway that can prove as a perfect distraction. Pick up the dead body there and carry it back towards the puzzle room.

Placing the body on the lower section next to the inaccessible entrance will lure the rats away from the treasure. Once this is complete, players should be able to head underneath the left entrance and retrieve the Scythe of Tribulation. Escaping these tunnels can be done the exact same way players entered them. The Siege of Paris brings a host of new items and enemies for players to interact with and this is just one of them.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
