Black Shark 5 Series Phones Price, Specifications, and Availability
Gaming phone brand Black Shark officially held a product launch conference on the evening of March 30 to unveil Black Shark 5 Series phones – Black Shark 5, 5 Pro, and 5 RS.
The front shape continues the design language of the previous generation, the front is centered on the hole digging straight screen, side fingerprint recognition, the back is a rectangular camera layout, with special lines drawn, the back cover is curved glass material. The new design of the back cover is made up of geometric lines with a colorful design, and the word “China Aerospace” is printed on it.
This time, the Black Shark offers three models to choose from, namely the Black Shark 5, the Black Shark 5 Pro, and the new Black Shark 5 RS, with different parameters.
First look at the screen, Black Shark 5 Pro with a 6.67-inch OLED flexible straight screen, resolution 2400 × 1080p, support 60/90/120/144Hz (game scene) refresh rate, as well as native 10bit, HDR10+, SGS low blue light certification, while the front and rear dual light sense. The Black Shark 5 and Black Shark 5 RS are the same sizes Samsung E4 AMOLED screen with 2400 × 1080p resolution, also supporting 60/90/120/144Hz refresh rate.
Core configuration, Black Shark 5 Pro equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor, complemented by LPDDR5 RAM + UFS 3.1 ROM, as well as SSD disk array technology 2.0, the whole system support Game engine performance optimization engine.
Black Shark 5 is equipped with Snapdragon 870 processor with LPDDR5 memory + UFS 3.1 flash memory. The Black Shark 5 RS is equipped with Snapdragon 888/888 Plus, with LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 flash memory, with SSD disk array support.
In terms of cooling, the Black Shark 5 Pro and Black Shark RS have a built-in inverse gravity VC liquid cooling system, with two VC cooling components on the front and back of the motherboard cooling unit, with a total dual VC area of 5320mm², using a copper block direct contact design to achieve faster thermal conductivity.
Gaming features, three new machines standard with magnetic power shoulder keys, screen dual-zone pressure-sensitive, with full symmetric stereo dual speakers, while the Black Shark 5 Pro, Black Shark 5 built-in X-axis linear motor.
Charging is the highlight of the series, the whole system is equipped with 120W wired flash charging as standard, the Black Shark 5/Pro is a 4650mAh battery, and the Black Shark 5 RS is a 4500mAh battery.
Camera, the Black Shark 5 Pro rear for 108MP main camera + 13MP ultra-wide angle + 5MP macro three camera, Black Shark 5 for 64MP + 13MP + 2MP three camera, Black Shark 5 RS for 64MP + 8MP + 5MP three camera combination.
The color scheme is also different, Black Shark 5 Pro provides meteorite black / changing white / China Aerospace version, Black Shark 5 provides dark universe black/dawn white/exploration gray / China Aerospace version, Black Shark 5 RS provides skydome black/flare star yellow two color schemes.
In terms of price, the Black Shark 5 8GB + 128GB version is priced at 2799 yuan, 12GB + 128GB version at 2999 yuan, 12GB + 256GB version at 3299 yuan, and China Aerospace version at 3499 yuan.
Black Shark 5 Pro 8GB + 256GB version is priced at 4199 yuan, 12GB + 256GB version 4699 yuan, 16GB + 512GB version 5499 yuan, and Black Shark 5 Pro China Space Edition Supreme Package 5999 yuan.
Black Shark RS 8GB + 256GB version for Snapdragon 888 platform, priced at 3,299 yuan, 12GB + 256GB version for Snapdragon 888 Plus platform, priced at 3,799 yuan, is now open for pre-sale, will be officially opened for sale on April 2.
