CD Projekt RED has confirmed that the next Cyberpunk 2077 update will bring new content to the game, which will be revealed soon. CD Projekt RED tweeted a day ago that they’ve scheduled a special episode of Night City Wire where he’ll talk about the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime on Netflix, as well as what’s next for Cyberpunk 2077. In a follow-up tweet, CD Projekt RED confirmed that the game will receive new content in a future update.
Cyberpunk 2077‘s next updates and content will be revealed at REDstreams on September 6th, where lead designer Miles Tost and designer Patrick K Mills will talk specifically about all the new stuff that is coming to Cyberpunk 2077. You’ll have to tune in right after Night City Wire, 5:00 p.m.: 30 CEST / 11:30 AM ET / 8:30 AM PT.
Despite the horrible launch, CD Projekt RED has managed to turn things around for Cyberpunk 2077, which has almost all the issues that were present at the launch fixed. CD Projekt RED was once revered for its work on the Witcher series and won awards for its critically acclaimed Witcher 3, but after the launch of Cyberpunk 2077, the studio found itself buried in lawsuits and investigations after the game’s horrible and buggy release, but it seems as though the studio’s learned from its mistakes and plans to keep supporting the game for a while.
