Last year, as you might recall, Nintendo was the victim of a massive "Gigaleak" – revealing the company's past secrets, source code, unused assets, characters that had never been seen before, and much more.
Now, more than a year later, it seems new findings are still being made and today we present you with an image of some early Wii Remote designs. This comes courtesy of the Twitter account Forest of Illusion, which is focused exclusively on Nintendo preservation.
As you can see, all of the designs are considerably different from the final version of the product. A few even look more like a television remote in the top half. Oh, and they're also coloured lime green – a colour Nintendo showcased prior to the system's release.
Although it can't be seen in the above image, it's also been noted by Nintendo Enthusiast how the concept designs may have been smaller than the final version of the product. Though this is only based on comparisons of the D-Pad.
