Fortnite‘s Season 4 is now underway with a heroic Marvel theme for its Battle Pass and its many player challenges. These challenges provide players with cosmetic items and are often themed off of various Marvel heroes and villains, including everyone’s favorite talking plant Guardian of the Galaxy: Groot.

The lead up to Fortnite‘s Season 4 has been filled with leaks and rumors for its skins and map changes. Not long before the new season launched, players caught wind that a She-Hulk skin would be coming to the game and earlier today, a reliable leaker tweeted that a Silver Surfer bundle would be available later this season.

Those wanting to use the Sapling Groot back bling when they gain access to it at level 32 on the Battle Pass will first need to complete Groot’s Awakening Challenge. These are challenges that must be accomplished first before players can use cosmetic items earned through this season’s Battle Pass. This challenge isn’t difficult though, as players will simply need to find Sapling Groot and rescue him from his potted predicament.

To rescue Sapling Groot, players will need to land at Holly Hedge Nursery on the western side of the map. Once there, players will want to head to the greenhouse area behind the garden shop and smash the potted plants in the area. Once the dust settles, players should be able to see the little guy and pick him up with no problem, gaining access to the back bling item.

It will certainly be interesting to see how this Marvel theme continues throughout Fortnite‘s 4th season. The trailer for the season seems to be hinting towards a major conflict with the classic Marvel villain Galactus, Devourer of Worlds. Perhaps he will be implemented in the game similarly to Doctor Doom, who can be defeated in order to grab some powerful in-game items.

While many Fortnite players will be obsessing over the heroics of the new seasons, others are more concerned about the topics surrounding the game, such as Epic Games ongoing litigation with Apple. Currently, Fortnite‘s Season 4 will not be coming to Apple devices because of the lawsuit, and it’s likely the game won’t return to the platform anytime soon. It seems that at least for the time being, iOS players will need to find a new platform of choice if they want to hop into this marvelous new season.

Fortnite is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions currently in development.
