Fortnite: How to Use an Alien Hologram Pad on Party UFO for Week 8 Challenge

Epic Games has added the latest batch of Epic quests to Fortnite so that players can complete them to earn extra XP towards the season 7 battle pass. Not only are the challenges typically enjoyable to do, but they offer variety in the battle royale gameplay. These quests can range from easy to difficult; however, one of the quests this week is more straightforward than players might think.

For Fortnite players looking to figure out how to use one of the Alien Hologram Pads on a Party UFO, this guide will explain everything.

Before players use one of the hologram pads, they will first need to find the location of the "Party UFO." This abductor is right in the middle of the Fortnite map, in the Aftermath location colored purple on the map. Players can get sucked up into the air by the UFO to make it to the top of it. Alternatively, players can drop on the UFO directly from the Battle Bus, but they should be careful if they don't get a gun fast. Other players are likely to show up and cause trouble here, too, attempting to find the pad.

Once players make their way to the top of the Party UFO, they need to run around until they spot a small pad on the surface that has a pinkish light coming out of it, as well as some kind of alien symbol. Players only need to step on it, and they will get flung high into the air and slowly drop back down. Once players do this action, the quest will be completed, and they will earn easy XP.

Also, these Epic quests aren't the only new thing on the island this week. Just a few days ago, a new Fortnite patch added a mysterious countdown timer in the middle of the map. Epic Games has not confirmed what exactly is going on at this specific day and time. Still, many fans believe it to be some sort of concert or live event, possibly featuring celebrity pop artist Ariana Grande. There have been leaks regarding the singer appearing in Fortnite, but players will just have to wait and see what happens in August.

Fortnite is currently free to play on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
