Forza Motorsport 7 is Getting Delisted | Game Rant

As far as beloved gaming genres, racing games have been around for ages entertaining players, with Forza Motorsport 7 doing a great job contributing to the medium. But now, new gamers have to give a heartfelt goodbye to the game about four years after the initial launch date.

Recently announced on the Forza Motorsport Twitter page, Forza Motorsport 7 is now reaching its End of Life status on September 15th, 2021. What this entails is that the game and any of its DLC packs will not be available for purchase anymore.

Luckily, fans who have already purchased the game will still be able to download and play the game without any hiccups. Additionally, online and other Forza multiplayer modes will still be made readily available for players who own the game. However, it has not been announced the reasoning behind this decision yet or how much longer these online services will be running for.

It is also important to note that any gamer who purchased Forza Motorspot 7 on the Xbox Game Pass who has not bought the game itself has not wasted any of their money. Subscribers should receive a token for the game through the Xbox Message Center so that they can keep playing the game for as long as they like. These tokens are now in the process of being sent out and fans should receive them by August 2nd. If someone has not received their token by that date, they are instructed to contact Xbox Support.

Anyone else that is interested in grabbing the game before it is wiped off the Microsoft marketplace is also in luck. There will be a special discount available on the Microsoft store for Forza Motosport 7 now through September 15th. The game is now available for 75% off for a total of $9.99 for the standard edition, $14.99 for the deluxe, and $19.99 for the ultimate edition. This discount effectively gives people 48 days to consider purchasing whichever edition they would like.

Turn-10 Studios and Microsoft will continue offering support to Forza Motorsport 7 esports competitions and partners through the September 15th deadline. So long-time fans will still be able to look forward to new content despite this setback. On top of that, there will also be new Rivals events coming out as well. So as sad as it is to see this game go, hopefully, new players will be able to hop on this game quickly, and current fans will still be able to enjoy all these unique events.

Forza Motorsport 7 is available for PC and Xbox One.
