One of the longest questlines that Genshin Impact players will be tasked with completing in the Inazuma update, is the Tatara tales series. After breaking the barrier surrounding the Mikage Furnace and unlocking the Shakkei Pavilion, Genshin Impact players will be able to accept six additional quests from Xavier. Unfortunately, players can only accept and complete one quest per day from Xavier which results in the questline taking a week to complete.
While the majority of the quests presented by Xavier are relatively easy to complete, some of the quest objectives can be a bit confusing. On the fifth day of the Tatara tales questline, players will be tasked with obtaining 3 Onikabuto bugs and delivering them to Xavier. This guide will outline where players can quickly acquire the Onikabuto bugs and complete the world quest.

To start the quest, teleport to the waypoint in the north of Tatarasuna and glide down to Xavier's location. After speaking with Xavier, he will inform the player that he requires 3 Onikabuto bugs due to their electric conductive properties and that they can be found in areas with large reserves of electrical energy.
Players will notice after accepting the quest that they will not be given a waypoint showing where to find Onikabuto bugs. Luckily, the bugs required can all be found nearby and can be easily obtained in only a few steps.
To start, teleport to the waypoint nearest to Xavier's location. At this location, players will notice an Electrogranum plant nearby.
Activate the Electrogranum plant and use it to glide to the upper regions of the Tatarasuna plateau. Once players have reached the upper plateau they must proceed in an eastwardly direction.
Eventually, players will see a tree in front of them containing several Lavender Melons and two Onikabuto bugs. Players can find the third bug required on a tree to the left of the Lavender Melon tree.
Players can now return to Xavier and submit the 3 Onikabuto bugs in order to complete the quest. Once players have completed the quest they will be rewarded with 20 Primogems 25,000 Mora, and 150 Adventure XP.
Currently, there is no other use in the game for Onikabuto bugs other than for Xavier's quest. However, due to the limited nature of the bugs, it is likely that the bugs could be an ascension material for one of the upcoming characters in Genshin Impact's 2.1 update which is set to release in early September.
Genshin Impact is available for Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5, with a Switch version in development.
