Ranging from Casino Heists to Gunrunning, there are many ways to earn money in GTA Online. Except these require multiple players and take many hours to complete, whereas these action-packed Client Jobs are a great way to rake in quick cash in Freemode alone or with friends.
Regular updates, modes, and challenges continue to arrive in the open-world sandbox shooter, with The Los Santos Tuners update being the most recent addition bringing in heavy muscle rides and supercars into GTA Online. Still, whether building an empire through dealing arms or printing counterfeit currency, players will need a whole lot of money to quickly pass the long and winding road of becoming a criminal mastermind.

Enter Client Jobs; these missions were added to GTA Online as part of the universally acclaimed After Hours update. But before players can begin the jobs, they will need to buy a Terrorbyte from the Warstock Cache and Carry store. This armor-plated moving military base has a minimum base cost of $1,375,000, and for every non-default aspect, its price will inflate. Once acquired, six jobs can be taken on, four of which can be tackled solo.
From stealing jewelry store diamonds to conducting a bank robbery in GTA Online all guns blazing. Client Jobs can be accessed through Paige Harris' touchscreen terminal in Terrorbyte. Although, Data Sweep and Targeted Data need the Drone Station upgrade for the Terrorbyte, which costs an additional $815,000. Nevertheless, the following missions can be done solo:
- Targeted Data – Infiltrate the Lifeinvader servers to track down a high-value target and take them out.
- Robbery in Progress – Identify the location of an ongoing bank robbery and steal the gold from inside.
- Data Sweep – Hack multiple vehicles to identify which is carrying the data drives and deliver them to the client.
- Diamond Shopping – Steal diamonds from Vangelico Jewel Store as they're being delivered by a security team.
These missions call for at least two cooperative gun-slinging players in GTA Online; however, no Drone Station is needed:
- Collector's Pieces – Retrieve high-value antiques being transported in the back of several security vans and deliver them to the client.
- Deal Breaker – Track a target's phone signal to a deal and deliver their briefcase to the client.
After completing a job, there will be a 30-minute cooldown on that particular job, as well as a 5-minute cooldown on all other Client Jobs. The Client Jobs requiring two players minimum have their own cooldown time, meaning they can proceed to one of these two jobs immediately after completing one of the four first jobs, and vice versa.
With that said, it should be noted that this content is only available in the "enhanced version" which can be found on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC renditions of GTA Online. Therefore, Client Jobs are unfortunately absent on the Xbox 360 or PS3 versions.
GTA Online is available on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions in development.
