Xbox has officially revealed the slate of games coming to Game Pass throughout August, headlined by Hades with nine other games in tow.
Xbox Game Pass continues to be one of, if not the best deal in all of gaming today. More games are added to the service each month, and since August is already three days old, Xbox has seen fit to announce which titles will be coming to Game Pass this month. There are ten in total, but bear in mind some other games will need to make way for their arrival.
The headline act of this announcement is, of course, Hades. The roguelike may have launched last year but continues to rack up Game of the Year awards. If you have somehow missed out on the Hades hype up until this point, but you have Game Pass, then you will be able to do some serious catching up and play it for free starting on August 13, 2021.

While Hades might be the attention-grabbing game of this particular bunch, there is certainly more to be excited about than just the one game. Skate is also coming to Game Pass this month, while Skate 3 will soon be available to play via the Cloud. The full list of the eight games coming to Game Pass, or being made playable through different means, throughout August can be found below.
Curse Of The Dead Gods (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 5
Dodgeball Academia (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 5
Katamari Damacy Reroll (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 5
Lumines Remastered (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 5
Skate (Console) – August 5
Skate 3 (Cloud) – August 5
Starmancer (Game Preview, PC) – August 5
Art Of Rally (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 12
Hades (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 13
Microsoft Solitaire Collection: Premium Edition (PC) – August 17
As touched upon above, it isn't all good news. Some games will be leaving Game Pass soon, so if you haven't played them yet and you still want to without having to pay for them, now is your last chance. Most notably GTA 5 will be leaving Game Pass on August 8. Ape Out, Final Fantasy 7, Crossing Souls, Darksiders Genesis, Don't Starve, and Train Sim World 2020 will all leave the service a week later on August 15.
Hopefully the consoles are going to actual fans- wait that sounds familiar #gamer #gamingnews #xbox #xboxseriesx #microsoft #fypシ
