She is a DPS character with a focus on elemental damage, meaning she can easily set off reactions with the right build and team. Like most characters, knowing which weapons to use for Yoimiya can be a tough choice, especially with the growing list of bows in the game. The guide below is here to give you the best builds for Yoimiya.

Best Weapons For Yoimiya

Yoimya is heavily reliant on elemental damage, as is shown by her elementals skill to transform her normal attacks into pyro attacks. The bows that you use for Yoimiya will need to compliment this by giving her the attack buffs she needs to set of hard-hitting reactions:

Weapon Name Base Attack Secondary Stat Passive Ability
Thundering Pulse 46 +14.4% Crit Damage Yoimiya's attack will be increased by 20%-40%, and hitting enemies will earn her thunder emblems, with a max of three stacks. Gaining thunder emblems will increase Yoimya's attack between 12%, 24%,40 or 24%, 48%, 80%, depending on the stack amount. Yoimiyas's normal attack will cause an emblem to last for five seconds, while her elemental attacks will cause an emblem to last for ten seconds. The emblems will go away if you reach full energy.
Mitternachts Waltz 42 +11.3% Physical Damage When Yoimiya hits an enemy with her normal attack, her elemental damage is increased between 20% to 40% for five seconds. The reverse happens when hitting an opponent with an elemental skill.
Hamayumi 41 +12% Attack Yoimiya gets a 16%-32% increase to her normal attack and a 12%-24% increase to charged attack. In addition, when Yoimiya's energy is completely full, this effect gets a 100% increase.

The Hamayumi can be forged by earning the blueprint and visiting the Inazuma City blacksmith. To learn where to get the Hamayumi and how to make it check out the Inazuma Weapon guide here.

Best Artifact Sets For Yoimiya

Along with a good bow, you will need to place the proper set onto Yoimiya in order to give your opponents a fiery show. Luckily, you likely already have the set she needs as both options were made available before the launch of Inazuma:

Artifact Set 2-Piece Set 4-Piece Set
Crimson Witch of Flames +15% Pyro Damage The set gives an additional pyro damage bonus along with making burning and overload reactions do 40% more damage. Reactions other than burning and overload will do 15% more damage.
Lavawalker Pyro Restaince Decreases by 40% Yoimiya's charge attack gets a 35% damage increase.

Depending on your preferences, you can easily use both these sets to get their two-piece abilities.
