Halo Infinite Has Been Rated In Australia

Halo Infinite has been rated by the Australian Classification board, making a 2021 release much more likely. First discovered by VGC, both Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5 have been rated, having been given an M and G rating respectively. Forza Horizon 5 is set to launch on November 9, and with Halo Infinite being rated at the same time as Forza, it's likely that it will launch around the same time as well.

Despite Halo Infinite's rumored November release window fast-approaching, the game doesn't yet have a release date. Head of Xbox Phil Spencer has assured fans that Halo Infinite will launch during the holiday season but has explained the reason for the lack of a release date is because Xbox is waiting for other games to announce their release dates first.

There aren't many titles that would threaten the sales of a new Halo game, but one such rival could be the next annual Call of Duty release which is also likely targeting a November release. Xbox's hesitancy regarding Halo Infinite's release date could very well be to avoid conflict with other heavy hitters releasing in the same month.

As for other recent news which hints that Halo Infinite is releasing this November, the Xbox Mexico Twitter account recently posted a tweet in celebration of the game's collaboration with Krispy Kreme, suggesting that those that can't wait until November should buy some "Infinite Doughnuts" to tide them over. At the time of writing, the tweet still hasn't been deleted.

Another leak has also revealed that Halo Infinite could have multiple campaigns, and could potentially see players taking on the role as someone other than Master Chief. A screenshot recently emerged of a menu in the game's Waypoint HUB which displays a category called "Campaigns". It's unlikely that the use of a plural is a mistake, and the series has experimented with dual protagonists before.

Halo Infinite doesn't have a release date just yet but is heavily rumored to launch in November for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. If you'd like to know more about the game, you can read our handy guide here to keep up to date with everything we know so far.
