IO Interactive have announced the Nintendo Switch cloud version release date of their stealth assassination game Hitman 3.
As previously reported, the game concludes the World of Assassination trilogy. Agent 47 must work with Lucas Grey, on their mission to hunt down the Partners of the secret society Providence.
Players must hunt down targets for assassination across the globe. While players can kill their targets in obvious ways, their targets will be heavily defended. Learn their routines, and use disguises, tools, and their own habits to make them vulnerable. If the opportunity presents itself, you can even use the environment to make it look like an accident.
The game also supports returning modes (Elusive Targets, Escalations, Contracts Mode, and Sniper Assassin), as well as being able to “import” locations from other games in the modern trilogy. The entire World of Assassination trilogy will also be playable in VR on other platforms.
While the Nintendo Switch release date was unknown for a large period of time, it has now been announced it will be launched the same day as other platforms. The game is a cloud-based version of the game, streaming at
Hitman 3 launches January 20th, 2021 for Windows PC (via the Epic Games Store), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Google Stadia.
