SNK has announced the release date for the Xbox Series X version of Samurai Shodown.
The new reboot of the classic fighting game series is coming to Xbox Series X and S on March 16th. The game is coming via retail and the Xbox store in North Americ and Europe, and via Smart Delivery to owners of the Xbox One version.
Game director Hayato Konya noted while the Xbox One version ran at 60 frames per second, the Series X+S version runs at 120 frames per second. If you own the Xbox One original, the Smart Delivery functionality will transfer your DLC and save data automatically to the Series X+S.

Samurai Shodown is available for Windows PC (via Epic Games Store) Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia.
