Hollow Knight: All Grub Rewards

Hollow Knight is a massive game. As with any Metroidvania, there are a variety of secrets to discover and paths for you to take on your journey, allowing you to experience every corner of this strange world of bugs and monsters.

Every so often, you may come across these poor little Grubs trapped in glass jars dotted around the map. One can usually identify them by the sound of their whimpering, and freeing them can result in some neat prizes. Here's a complete look at all the rewards you can earn for helping out.

Rare Items

There are a total of 46 Grubs scattered throughout the game, and you must rescue all of them in order to get the full benefit of the rewards. This task becomes much less daunting once you obtain the Grub Map, but you can still easily find Grubs before obtaining it and receive at least something from the Grubfather. The exact rewards received vary by the number of Grubs saved:

Geo in Abundance

In addition to items, you will also receive Geo for rescuing certain numbers of Grubs. The exact amount of Geo earned varies and goes up as you rescue more and more Grubs, adding up to a total of 6,750 Geo.
