The Make It Rain Campaign has returned to Final Fantasy 14, lasting from today at 1.00 am PDT until Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 7.59 am PDT. This special event is a fan-favorite as it makes earning MGP (Manderville Gold Saucer Points) so much easier to earn, as well as offering a couple of new rewards.

What Happens in the Make It Rain Campaign 2021?
While the Make It Rain Campaign is active, all minigames that earn you MGP will be increased by 50%. However, MGP earned from MGP cards is not increased.
Throughout the event, you can speak with the Campaign Attendant in the Gold Saucer at (X:5.3, Y:6.3) to buy MGP rewards at a discounted price, as well as being able to purchase the new Seniorita Sabotender minion for 21,000 MGP.
A couple of new quests have also been added for the event, which you can take part in to earn the new emote. We have a walkthrough of these quests right here.
The Great Horn Heist Quest Unlock and Walkthrough
You can begin the Make It Rain Campaign quest "The Great Horn Heist" by speaking to Ollier at Ul'dah the Steps of Nald (X:9.4, Y:9.2) providing that you are at least level 15 and have completed any of the following main scenario quests: "The Gridanian Envoy," "The Ul'dahn Envoy," or "The Lominsan Envoy."
After speaking with Ollier, who asks for your help in solving a robbery, head to The Gold Saucer and speak with him again on the upper level at (X6.0, Y6.9). After the cutscene, speak with Ollier again to obtain the Inspector's Journal.
Note: You don't actually need to solve the mystery properly to complete the quest, but below are the clues and answers you need to identify the real culprit.
Speak with the Anxious Attendant not far from your current location and take his testimony, before speaking with Ollier once more and begin the quest in earnest.
- Speak to the Cheery Customer at (X:5.1, Y:6.0)
- Speak to the Brass Blade Recruit at (X:7.1, Y:6:1)
- Speak to the Astute Attendant at (X:8.6, Y:4.8)
- Speak to the Frantic Attendant at (X:8.5, Y:5.4) (You won't get the info you need until you've spoken to the Astute Attendant)
- Speak to the Effusive Attendant at (X:5.3, Y:4.6)
- Speak to the Brusque Brass Blade at (X:7.2, Y:7.0)
- Examine the Choice Location at the Sabotender statue at (X:5.1, Y:7.0)
- Speak to the Blabbering Brass Blade at (X.5.6, Y.6.5) (You won't get the info you need until you've spoken to the Brass Blade Recruit)
You should then get a notification that you have all of the clues, so head back to Ollier and choose "It's all clear to me now!".
- Choose "The true culprit is still out there!"
- Choose "One of the attendant's uniforms has gone missing!"
- Choose "If you're so sure he did it, then where is the horn?"
- Choose "The horn was stolen while Hugue was still on duty!"
- Choose "It's you… Pipimaya!"
- Choose "The stolen uniform was Lalafell-sized!"
- Choose "But not all have a brother with eyes only for MGP."
- Choose "My most sincere apologies, Master Mayapipi."
This will ensure that the culprit is dealt with and you'll earn an MGP Bronze Card. If you mess up or wish to repeat the quest anyway to earn some Gold Saucer Tickets, simply speak to Ollier again.
Once you have completed "The Great Horn Heist", you can speak with the Stern Saucer Attendant at (X:6.2, Y:6.8) to begin the next quest "A Token of Thanks". Simply head to (X:5.0, Y: 6.4) and then speak to Grege to finish the quest and earn the Ballroom Ettiquette – Displaying Displeasure emote and "Objection!" achievement.
