The Kingdom Hearts franchise has been done many different paths in its long and winding story, with tons of different spinoffs between mainline titles. Now it’s time to get musical with the next title in the franchise, Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory. The game will see Kairi take the lead role and replay through various key moment of the series. Now, we have an idea of how much will be here.
In an interview with PlayStation Japan, Co-director Masanobu Suzui talked about the game. There he confirmed that the game will have 47 worlds in total. 16 will be Kingdom Hearts worlds with 31 being Disney worlds. There will also be 33 boss levels called Black Holes. In total, it will take about 10 hours to beat the main story. Thanks to Twitter user Audrey for translations.
“There are 47 normal worlds, 16 of which are original Kingdom Hearts worlds and 31 of which are Disney worlds. There are also 33 places called Dark Holes that contain only boss battle songs. If you just go through the story and reach the ending in the world trip, it will take about 10 hours and I think it is a volume you can enjoy easily.”
Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory will release on November 13th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Switch. You can check screens and the latest key art for the game through here.
