There is no denying that WhatsApp is perhaps one of the most, if not the most popular instant messaging apps–with over 2 billion active users worldwide, the app is available on a number of platforms and is pretty accessible even for older smartphones. However, the one thing that most people don’t like about the app is that it is slow when it comes to adapting or introducing new features, especially when compared to its competition.
You can now send up to 100 photos and videos using WhatsApp along with some new changes
Today, WhatsApp has started rolling out a new update that quietly brings a number of changes that should make the overall user experience better. For starters, users will now be able to add captions when they are sending documents, which should make it easier to distinguish between various documents, specially in situations where there are a lot of files being sent.
Furthermore, WhatsApp will now let you better describe the group thanks to longer group subjects and descriptions. Another feature is that you will be able to send up to 100 photos and videos at once–previously, this feature was limited to just 30 photos and videos. Although this feature might seem useless but a lot of people do wish to send each other that many images, so if you are someone who prefers sharing a lot of photos and videos, then this feature is for you.
For those wondering, the new features are available on WhatsApp version 2.23.3.77. If you have not recieved the update, you will have to wait before the update finally hits globally and you can start using the new features. Make sure to check Google Play Store for the update.
