20 minutes of off-camera gameplay footage for the Zombies mode from Call Of Duty: Vanguard has leaked online and it looks… familiar.
The official reveal for Call Of Duty: Vanguard’s Zombies mode has already happened but if you want to see 20 minutes of unedited footage then someone has leaked it online and it’s still live at time of writing.
As always seems to be the case, the camera used appears to be a blurry, low resolution antique but you can just about make out the footage itself and the interface and pre and post-game options.
Activision will almost certainly get the video taken down but perhaps not until America wakes up, so you’ve probably got a few hours to watch it before it disappears.
The Zombies mode is being described as a ‘franchise crossover’ in that while Sledgehammer Games are making Vanguard’s story campaign and multiplayer, Treyarch are handling Zombies mode and making it a prequel to the plot from Black Ops Cold War Zombies.
That means it’ll involve the Dark Aether storyline and presumably fill in a lot of new background lore. Activision has also promised that it will feature locations including Stalingrad and Shi no Numa (Swamp of Death).

Treyarch is the original creator of Zombies mode and introduced it in 2008’s World At War. It’s changed a lot since then but in the last few years has seemed to stagnate a little, although it’s unclear if Vanguard will do anything much to change the status quo.
You’ll get to find out yourself when Call Of Duty: Vanguard is released this Friday, November 5, on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
