Xbox's new Aqua Shift controller is finally available to order, and it's even more beautiful than we remember.
Controllers have been a hot topic of conversation during the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S's first year. The former's DualSense has been celebrated for a number of reasons with Xbox even asking if Series X owners would like their controllers to be more like what PS5 is offering up. However, Xbox has the leg up on PlayStation when it comes to how good its controllers look.
Even though the DualSense is now available in cosmic red and midnight black, Xbox beat its rival to the punch by launching Electric Volt and Daystrike Camo. Not the best-looking controllers in the world, but Xbox's new Aqua Shift option very well might be. The shimmering blue controller is available now, and its pretty stunning.

Xbox actually offered up a first look at its blue Aqua Shift controller a little less than a month ago. It has now revealed more photos and, best of all, the beautiful new piece of hardware is now available to buy. It restails for $69.99 and can be bought through the Xbox website right now. Don't wait around,though. As this generation of consoles continues to prove, good-looking hardware doesn't stay in stock for long.
Xbox's new Halo Infinite range further proved that last week. On top of confirming the new Halo game will be here on December 8, it launched a controller to celebrate 20 years of Halo as well as a rather stunning new Series X console. The console sold out at all major US retailers almost instantly, and in-keeping with PS5s and the regular Series X, some of them have appeared on resale sites for thousands of dollars since.
Back to Xbox's controllers, and the biggest advantage Xbox has other PlayStation right now is its Design Lab. Design Lab allows Series X owners to create their very own controllers, with some obvious and not-so-obvious limitations. Not only does that cost a lot more than buying a regular one, you also won't be able to create anything like the Aqua Shift design.
