Minecraft Sonic the Hedgehog DLC celebrates 30th anniversary

Minecraft Sonic The Hedgehog

On its 30th anniversary, Sonic and friends join Minecraft as DLC with a slew of surprises and minigames.

Sega’s most recent live stream to commemorate Sonic’s 30th anniversary already gave us a very promising hint. An extremely large blue hedgehog sprite emerged in Minecraft, hinting at a release linked to the two franchises. We’d been left yearning to know more. Now Sonic the Hedgehog and his pals are making their way to Minecraft.

The blue hedgehog is now available as paid DLC in Minecraft. As you can see, the most legendary locations, such as Green Hills and the Chemical Plant, will be present to ensure that the opportunity is not missed. Of course, we’ll have to gather rings while overcoming several obstacles, killing enemies, and achieving the highest possible score.

On the other side, we may acquire a free item for the character creator from the Marketplace. For the next two weeks, there will be n unique server dedicated to mini-games and other surprises related to this DLC. Skins for characters – such as Shadow the Hedgehog, Mighty the Armadillo, and Ray the Squirrell – are also available.
