Monster Hunter Rise Capcom Collab 2 Event Quest Now Available

It’s an exciting time for Monster Hunter Rise fans as new content has just become available today. Yesterday, July 29, Capcom released patch 3.2.0 which included new events that will be available every week, DLC available for purchase in the Nintendo eShop, and the support of the Arabic language. Additionally, the patch included numerous bug fixes. Some of the following fixes that are most notable include:

  • A bug that sometimes caused quests to be started while players still had their item box open
  • A bug that prevented monsters that are repelled by weapon attacks while they are stuck in a trap during a Rampage Quest from being counted towards the "Repel using a weapon" sub-assignment
  • A bug that sometimes caused all on-screen information to disappear if the player entered a tent after being hit with a restraining attack
  • A bug that caused the old name of a Buddy to be displayed during a quest if the name of the Buddy was changed during online play.

This is only a few examples of the many updates, so you can check out the full list of fixes here.

But even more exciting is the new content that just became available today, the Capcom Collab 2 Event Quest. In this, you can unlock layered armor to make your Palamute look like Amaterasu, the main character from Okami, a visually-pleasing action adventure game developed by Capcom.

In order to change your Palamute into Amaterasu, you must gather the required materials to forge the armor. Not only with your Palamute’s appearance change, but its bark will too. It will support you with one of each type of the three Divine Instruments: a Reflector, a Rosary, and a Glaive. Additionally, the effects while riding your Palamute will change based on your location. They even note that Issun, Amy’s travel companion, will make an appearance too.

In other Monster Hunter News, Monster Hunter Stories 2 has recently hit one million copies sold. Between the Nintendo Switch and PC, the game has already seen massive success, and we expect to continue to see the numbers rise.
